About me
For nearly 20 years, I've loved working as a professional photographer. While continuing my photography, and maintaining my business, I'm delighted to expand my services to comprehensive caregiving. I believe it's important to be present for one another, and nobody ought to be alone. The most clear way to explain this new endeavor is – I'm not uncomfortable in settings such as a hospital, a hospice facility, or in a home where someone is terminal. I'm comfortable simply being with someone who would like a hand to hold, who is seeking gentle and steady support, a warm hug.
I'm trained via International End-of-Life Doula Association (INELDA) and I volunteer at a local Dallas hospice facility. Caring for people is deeply important to me, as is normalizing conversations around death. Preparing for the social and emotional impact of a death is just as essential as traditional estate planning.
My friends, family and clients often tell me I'm a calm presence. These folks also offer supportive and kind comments about my dependability, and unobtrusive, gentle professionalism.
Rate and Consultation
My rate is $40 per hour, 2 hour minimum, and the final invoice will reflect travel time exceeding 20 miles outside of 75201.

Scope of Services

comprehensive personal assistance, elder-care, child-care, end-of-life care (excluding medical care)

end-of-life companionship and support: a gentle and calm presence that might include conversation (mostly listening on my part), hand-holding, taking walks, documenting one's life story, organizing photos, listening to music, or watching movies together. It's important to note here that these interactions will be affirming and non-judgmental. My job is to be a kind and supportive presence.

support/respite/relief for caregivers to take a vacation, go to appointments, etc.

proactive end-of-life support to ease some pressure on next-of-kin, encompassing everything from organizing and donating belongings, to support planning end-of-life directives and support in planning a funeral. support with rides to appointments, errands and light housekeeping, laundry, light meal preparation, plant care, etc.
